Cosmovise is for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. Our astrological readings are not a substitute for professional psychological, medical, financial, legal, or any other professional advice.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cosmovise ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cosmovise. We may update them at any time with notice as described in Section 11.
2. Description of Service
Cosmovise provides:
- Natal chart calculation based on astronomical algorithms (Jean Meeus, ±1° accuracy)
- AI-generated astrological interpretations powered by Claude AI (Anthropic)
- Optional subscription services with additional features including compatibility charts, forecasts, and unlimited readings
Entertainment only: Astrology is not a science. Cosmovise readings are provided for entertainment and self-reflection. We make no claims about the predictive, diagnostic, or therapeutic accuracy of our content.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- One account per person — accounts are personal and non-transferable
- You may not use the Service to create charts for others without their knowledge and consent
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Free Tier: Available without registration. Provides natal chart calculations and a basic free reading without full AI interpretation.
Pro and Premium Subscriptions:
- Billed monthly via Stripe (secure payment processor)
- 7-day free trial available for new subscribers — no charge during trial
- Cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law
- Prices are shown in USD and may be subject to local taxes
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice
Chargebacks: Please contact support@cosmovise.com before initiating a chargeback. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our algorithms or AI outputs at scale
- Resell or redistribute AI-generated readings without written permission from Cosmovise
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate charts in bulk
- Impersonate other individuals in chart requests
- Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
6. Intellectual Property
- Our content: All website content, branding, software, and AI-generated outputs are owned by or licensed to Cosmovise and protected by applicable intellectual property laws
- Your data: You retain full ownership of the birth data you provide. We use it solely to provide the Service
- AI readings: AI-generated interpretations are provided to you for personal use. You may share individual readings but may not resell or republish them commercially
- Feedback: Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by Cosmovise without obligation or compensation
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COSMOVISE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:
- That astrological readings are accurate, complete, scientifically valid, or useful for any purpose
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
- That AI interpretations will be accurate, unbiased, or suitable for any particular purpose
- That any information provided through the Service is reliable or appropriate for decision-making
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COSMOVISE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
- Any damages arising from reliance on our astrological readings or AI interpretations
- Any damages caused by service interruptions, errors, or unauthorized access to your data
- Any total damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or €50, whichever is greater)
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cosmovise, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your infringement of any third party's rights
- Any content you submit through the Service
10. Termination
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, chargebacks without prior contact, or non-payment. We will attempt to notify you where practicable.
By you: You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@cosmovise.com or using the account deletion option in your profile settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance and by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to material changes, you may terminate your account before they take effect.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
EU / Spain users: These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. EU consumer protection laws apply to users in the European Union, including the right to withdraw from a digital service within 14 days of purchase under certain conditions.
GDPR (European users): If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights regarding your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may exercise these rights by contacting support@cosmovise.com.
US users: Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except for claims eligible for small claims court. Class action waivers apply to the extent permitted by law.
All other users: Disputes shall be governed by the laws of Spain, with jurisdiction in Barcelona courts.
